Dear Student Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to Kaiser Elementary School where we believe that every child must have the opportunity to engage in rigorous academic tasks with every experience being grounded in joy and a love for learning. We also believe that every child should get the love and individualized attention they need to support their learning and social emotional growth.
We are a small school and we operate more like a family, where we all lean in and work together to give every child the learning experience they need and deserve. I believe this quote best exemplifies the beliefs about learning at Kaiser. “To reach a child’s mind you must first capture his heart. Only if he feels right can he think right” Halm Ginott.
We continue to build a strong loving community at Kaiser. We implement the district curriculum for all our learners:
We also believe in the power of community and engagement. You are invited to be an active member of our Kaiser Community, whether you are a classroom volunteer, a member of the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization), Collaborative School Committee, or helping with special events, you are encouraged to be involved.
Please know that we will do all that we can to keep you informed through our Weekly Newsletter, that is sent via email every Friday, as well as the Kaiser webpage and Kaiser Facebook.
Our front office, paraprofessionals, facilities crew, lunchroom staff, social emotional learning team, teachers, and myself are here to support you and welcome you into our Kaiser family. Our hope is to make school feel like a loving and nurturing environment where all are welcome and included.
