My name is Liz Dawson, and this my 19th year in education and my first year here at Kaiser! It is my honor to be teaching the English language to students as another tool in their multilingual toolkits. My master’s degree is in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education, and fostering a sense of community and belonging via language is my passion. When I am not at Kaiser, I love spending time outdoors as a Colorado kid, born and raised. I enjoy hiking, spending time with my dogs, husband, and family, and tending my many houseplants. Let’s go Leopards!

Favorite Drink: Diet Coke, sugar free Redbull
Favorite Lunch Food: I will eat almost anything but love Mexican food, pasta, or a good sandwich.
Favorite Candy/Treat: fruit pastries, maple donuts, butter braids, cinnamon rolls
Favorite Color: burnt orange
Favorite Paces to Shop: local!; I love a good mom and pop shop, plant shop (Echter’s in Arvada!), or oddities shop
