Hi Everyone! My name Megan Furuto. I have been teaching for 4 years, and this will be my 3rd year at Kaiser. I graduated from University of Colorado Boulder with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Culturally Linguistic Diverse Teaching K-12. SKO BUFFS! Some of my favorite things to do are play basketball, tennis, and go fishing. I love exploring Colorado and hiking in the mountains. Plus, I love watching basketball, football, and hockey. I recently started growing Japanese Bonsai trees with my mom and this year our class will get to see 3 different types of seeds grow (crape myrtle, phoenix, and pigeon pea). I could not be more excited to teach 4th grade again! It’s going to be a great year!
